For clean indoor air
The AirClean filter ensures that the vacuumed dust remains where it belongs: in the Scout RX1's dust box. The two stage AirClean system filters dirt particles from the vacuumed air particularly thoroughly. With Scout RX1 there will be less fine dust in the living area after cleaning than before vacuuming.

Smart Navigation on the Scout RX1 combines three innovative features: The Indoor Positioning System with ceiling camera ensures reliable navigation. Plus Advanced Corner Cleaning cleans especially effectively with extra-long side brushes and a special mode for corners and edges. Thus the RX1 ensures thorough cleaning of your floors.
Start time freely programmable
With the Scout RX1, you can programme the floor cleaning times individually. You can have it work, for instance, when you are not even at home. The RX1 will begin cleaning at the selected time. The appliance then returns to the charging station on its own to recharge the battery. So feel free to go out while the RX1 cleans your home.

The Miele Scout RX1 tackles dirt in three ways: The two rotating side brushes pull the dirt from corners and edges under the appliance. The roller brush then picks up larger particles of dirt. And the powerful DC motor powerfully vacuums up fine dust.

Seven optical sensors at the front of the Scout RX1 recognise furniture and other obstacles in the path of the robot vacuum cleaner. The RX1 approaches these objects cautiously in order to clean the floor directly in front of them. Collisions are avoided. An additional 3 sensors underneath the appliance recognise steps at floor level in time and prevent the RX1 from falling down stairs.
Cleans by itself
In Auto mode, the Scout RX1 cleans all accessible rooms completely on its own: It leaves its charging station, cleans the desired floor areas and returns to its charging station. If the battery charge is not sufficient for all areas, it interrupts the cleaning process in order to charge its batteries at the station. After about 120 minutes, it continues the cleaning process returning to the exact location where it previously stopped cleaning.
More thorough in corners and along edges
Where does most of the dust collect? In corners and at edges where there is the least air movement. Luckily the Scout RX1 has its own Corner mode. In this mode the Scout RX1 first cleans all areas in Auto mode. Then it goes round all rooms again to do the edges. So you can be sure that dirt is thoroughly removed from corners and edges.
Controlling the robot vacuum cleaner manually
Would you like to use the RX1 in a different way to its automatic programmes? No problem - with the remote control provided, you can also operate the robot vacuum cleaner yourself. With simple commands, the RX1 can be guided directly to certain areas, which it then cleans thoroughly.

For quick cleaning in between the Scout RX1 offers the Turbo-Mode: Here the Miele robot vacuum cleaner moves in its systematic lines but further apart so saving time - about 50% in comparison to Auto-Mode. Really great if speed is of the essence.

Up to 14 Days After Purchase
Under the new distance selling regulations you have the right to cancel this contract with Comet Lighting LTD and return your goods for a refund within 14 working days, from the day after you receive the goods.
It is the customer’s statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods whilst in their possession. Therefore, we recommend the goods are returned ‘with’ the original packing in good condition to avoid the products being damaged on their return journey as it is the customer’s responsibility to take care of the goods during the cancellation period.
Please note it is the consumers responsibility to pay for return postage to Comet Lighting Ltd when the goods are not faulty.
You can request to return goods after 14 Days with a restocking fee - however this is at the discretion of our Customer Services team.
A refund for the goods will be made by the same payment method and to the same card that was used to make the purchase. All refunds will be undertaken within 30 days of cancellation.
Please note credit/debit card refund can take 4 working days to clear.
Non faulty goods must be returned at the customers own cost within this period.

All Items sold via Comet Lighting have a one years manufacturers warranty.
With some products the manufacturers would require the customer to contact them directly. In these cases, manufacturers provide a specialist full on-site service and/or telephone help facilities for your convenience which we recommend you use in order to correct the fault quickly.
Any goods returned faulty ( within 28 calendar days in original packaging) will be repaired or replaced and sent back to the customer carriage free.
Please note that due to hygiene reasons opened headphones cannot be returned unless faulty.
Any goods returned for credit which are not found to be faulty will be returned to the customer with a minimum £10 carriage and administration charge. You must return the complete package, including accessories to us. Any items that are missing, when the product is returned to us will also be charged for - However this is at the discretion of our Customer Services team.
Title to and risk of loss in your Products will pass to you on delivery of the Products to the address stated in your Order Confirmation.
We understand that boxes need to be opened to inspect the products, however if you do return the items to us, we need to resell them. WE CANNOT REFUND ON SERIOUSLY DAMAGED product boxes that prevent us from reselling the item. Please ensure that you DO NOT WRITE ON ITEM BOXES and DO NOT USE EXCESSIVE TAPE such as duct tape or heavy duty sealing tape.

No complicated list of do's and don’ts, all we ask is that the item is returned unused in the original packaging and that you have taken reasonable care.
Exclusions From The 14 Day Returns Policy
Items not normally stocked such as bespoke, hand made, peronalised with art work such as logos are not eligable for the 14 day return policy. Bulk orders: If you wish to order a large quantity of one product or are wishing to have artwork such as logo's added we are happy to provide a sample before comitting to a large quantity. Once you are happy with the product any orders for bigger quantities will not be eligble for the 14 day returns policy.
After 14 Days
We really want you to be happy with your purchase, but if you do decide after the 14 day period that you would like to return the order, you may still be able to and receive a credit note, this is reviewed on a case by case basis.
Please contact us and we will do all we can to help. A restocking fee may apply if the item has been opened and items that have been used will not be credited. Any credit notes issued must be used within 60 days of issue.
The Boring Bit...
Items being returned must have all their original packaging, along with all accessories received with it, any sealed items must still be sealed and unused. We will refund the cost of your purchase including the delivery charge. However we will not refund the cost of returning any items that are unwanted and if you request a collection this will be deducted from your refund.
We are sorry to say that items returned in a used condition or missing packaging will not be refunded and will be returned to you.

To notify us that you wish to return your goods please contact us via telephone or e-mail. Once we receive your request we will send you an email with full details of how and where to return the goods including a returns number, which must be clearly displayed on the packaging.
Returns normally take only a few days to process but please allow up to 10 working days.
