Car audio is not especially something that does attract a lot of media attention apart from the odd improvement such as iPod compatibility, but none the less, Sony have just expanded the Xplod range with new in-car digital music systems named the DSX-S200X and DSX-S300BTX.

The predecessor to these 2 new models, the DSX-S100, was announced at CES and has since become a great triumph for the company. The unique portable player and storage system has proved extremely popular, and the 2 latest editions plan simply to enhance the product and expect to flourish in the coming months.

The concept of the devices is something unique to the company, allowing drivers to access music through a range of digital music players like the iPod, their own Sony Walkmans or even a USB drive. Any which can be neatly, yet prominently positioned in the centre console of the car and hidden away for neatness and safety purposes.
