Android Honeycomb, the new version of the mobile OS that is focused on internet based tablets, this will give a slickest feel with more tablet based apps and an improved 3D rendering engine than it previous versions like 2.2 and 2.3 which are used in mobile phones . This released of the honeycomb OS was due for a major launch on the Motorola Xoom as previewed and all the resent expo’s, but Acer had managed to jump the gun and ready to release the first versions of the new honeycomb OS and along with a range of new tablet running the most used OS windows 7 (the same as your home pc and you can run all your application on the tablet) to take on the apple iPad 2 which is the major leader in this field.  How the Acer Iconia range with fair against the power of apples iPad 2 is to be seen but offering both Google Android 3 (honeycomb) and windows 7 will only put the competition into new areas
